Oh, my goodness. The sense of urgency is getting worse as I get older, and aging has been a wake-up call to slow down, to recalibrate and make sure I figure out what really matters. Also, I love the term "functional theology"—essentially, where "the rubber meets the road" (pardon the cliché). Just may use that someday!
