Sometimes, I’m fine.
Other times, one unread post, and suddenly I’m questioning my entire life calling.
I know, dramatic.
But the algorithm can really mess with your head.
It whispers things like, “Maybe no one’s listening. Maybe you should’ve gone into forestry.”
So the other day, I prayed a simple Gideon-style prayer:
“God, if this is the path You want me on, could I get a sign? I don’t need one, but I could really use it today.”
And the next day, I got this comment:
“Thank God you came back, Hayley! I read Devotions for the God Girl when I was starting to give my life to Christ some two-ish years ago. The book drastically changed me!”
I had to reread it. Twice. Then I sat there in stunned silence. Goosebumps.
Here’s the kicker:
Just the day before, I had found her blog. Loved her writing. Subscribed to her Substack.
I even told her, “I love your writing.”
And she replied, “I’m not screaming my lungs out, I promise.”
Which obviously means:
She totally was.
And so was I.
God didn’t just send encouragement.
He delivered it—with a little wink and a lot of timing.
To that sweet reader (you know who you are):
Thank you.
You were the reminder I needed—loud, loving, and straight from heaven.
And to the rest of you out there who wonder if your words matter after one flop of a post:
They do.
God gives.
Exactly what we need, when we need it.
Even if sometimes He wraps it in a comment box.
Now, I have to show you this guys answer to prayer! You aren’t going to believe it. Talk about goosebumps!!

If God has dramatically answered your prayer, share it with me. I’d love
to hear about His amazing generosity!!
I cried! I actually cried.
It's such a beauty to see, how that the Creator of the universe cherishes us so deeply, listens to us so closely.
Wow!
