God Girl

Today a Boy in my year who was seated in front of me turned around and just started asking me about God and my faith in the middle of class. I wasn't expecting it but talked with him and his atheist friend about God the rest of the lesson and I answered all his questions like what I believe, if my family are Christian, what I think of people disrespecting my religion, if I planned on marrying, if I pray ect.

I answered their questions and try to show them God's love and mercy through my answers but I am still young in my Christianity and was lost for what to say to direct their sight to God. What should I do when something happens like this again? What does the Bible say on this?

p.s. How amazing is God to call us to be witness to his glory at anytime and to anyone!!!

You know, I was reading the purpose driven life and it talked about how it's important to share your testimony with other people especially non believers because they can relate to what you have to say. It makes God look even greater in their eyes. I think sharing your testimony will be good for them:)

11 “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” -Luke 12:11-12

This might not mean you'll always know what to say, but if God wants you to say something, you can trust that He'll put the words on your heart.

That's amazing!!!! I have never really spoken to anyone about my beliefs besides one of my friends and I was kind of disappointed with the outcome. She wasnt really interested but she wasn't disrespectful either. She treats me the same but we are really good friends an its something I wanted her to understand so we can be closer in our faith together. I kind of felt like I failed God and even though I am trying read my bible more and really dig deep and spend more time with God I'm just not confident in sharing yet. I'm trying to memorize verses and that has actually helped. It's funny because every time I read a certain verse I thin of a person I could share that verse with.. I never do but it's so weird how if I could share that, it might lead that person to Christ! Your blog was very inspiring and encouraging and I hope to have some stories Of leading people soon!(:
