What is God to you?

A lot of times we put God in a box and then put him on a shelf. We put God at a low standard and even put ourselves above God sometimes. And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up: And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. (Nehemiah 8:5, 6 KJV) Where have we come to? They were in awe of God just by merely reading scripture. A lot of times we just read scripture and just push it aside like it is nothing. We have become so use to scripture that it has become just another thing. Don't make it just another thing!! We need to be intintional with scripture!! We need to dig into scripture with everything we have. Whenever we seek Christ we will find him. We need to train ourselves to be disciplined with scripture!! Disciplined lives are the exception not the rule!!! Leagalisim is a self centered view disciplineisim is a Godcentered view. Lastly we need to be accountable with others!!! We need to have a correct view of Christ!! What is your view of him?
