Volunteer Ideas?

i am a 12 year old girl going into 7th grade in four days. i live in ohio. i really want to make a difference and volunteer or do something for others like God wants u to do, but i dont know wat. My family and i have searched all over for volunteer oppertunities, but none will alow me my age. all that would allow me is cosi, and i do like science, but i dont want to just be at a science museum. i want to be able to serve others or to help them in some way. i have tried looking up wat i could do without volunteering, but all of them that i know of are mission trips. and dont get me wrong, i want to be a missionary when i get enough money, but i want to do someting with my life untill i could. All that i know of cost money, and my parents are very paranod about "spending money". any ideas or clubs or aany ideas girls?

Maybe you and your youth group can get donations for homeless shelters, you all can volunteer to help clean the neighborhood parks in your area, you all can help the elderly in buying there groceries for them as a group etc.
