Need opinions

Hey guys so here's the dilema when my dad was coaching for girls freshmen basketball he nearly got the varsity coach fired so when my older sister tried out she made the team but they barely put her in the game and she is really good. I dont know if should try out because they might treat me the same way, what should i do?

Show that coach how persistent you can be, but don't let the coach, the team, or the game come before God in your thoughts, words, or actions.
