Why do we, humans, bother judging people? It is not right. Do you know why?
In Ephesians 2:1-6 says, "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sings, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of the world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived amount them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following it's desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with the him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus..."
This passage to me means that we were ALL dead once. No one can be more dead than another. My great grandfather cannot be more dead than my dog. They are EQUALLY dead. Whether we were MADE ALIVE by Christ at age four or seventy-three, we were all DEAD, EQUALLY dead. We all sinned. We all fall short of the glory of God. My point is, who do we have to judge someone who is dead, when we were dead ourselves? Even if you are judging someone who is 'alive', it is not okay, because you sin on a daily basis, too. I do, you do, we all do!
God is the only one allowed to judge us. He is utterly perfect, blameless, and an amazing God. He gave his only son, so we may be with him! (Romans 3:21-26). He is the one who created us, forgives us, loves us, and cares for us. He is also the ultimate judge, and the ONLY fair judge. He has seen EVERYTHING we have done, and know us better than we know ourselves. Chances are, the people we judge subconsciously on a daily basis we have not seen EVERY little thing that they have done, but God of the UNIVERSE has.
