It's my birthday...well not really

So... one year ago to this day I asked Christ into my heart, and in honor of that, I would like to share my story with you all:) I am Fourteen and when I accepted Christ it was under some very special circumstances...I had just moved out of my house and was staying with a friend. My dad had just gone back to jail for like the 3rd time, my mom was always working, and we were always fighting, and my family was falling apart. So I left home for two and a half months. While I was at my friends house one of my other friends called to check up on me. She told me about God and what He could do for me. I grew up in a Christian community, but I never KNEW Christ until that moment. In french there are two words for "to know"...one means you kinda know what someone is talking about (sais) and then the other one means you know exactly what the person is talking about (connais). I realized that I needed and wanted to "cannais" God.  After I accepted Christ I started a small group with a friend and God used that experience to help me more than I could ever halp any one else:)! So, as life goes on I hope our relationship goes on and grows, and grows, and grows. I hope that the stuff I learn and the stuff I know isn't just in my head, but it is in my heart too.
