It is so easy to be distressed when you are in trouble. You just want to weep and cry and when your having hard times you feel you can't do anything because there is no hope left. The truth is, you just have to learn God's dance. He'll take different steps and turns, He might even swing you around in a spin. But He's the one guiding us through it so we just have to trust that we keep on our feet and just dance with Him with hope and love
Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understandings. Proverbs 3:5
There is a story that is kind of like this. It goes like this...
One day a woman was having some people come over so she went to the store to buy groceries for a fancy treat, but when she got home, she found out she forgot something. So she decided to go with plan B: leftovers. She went to the fridge to get the leftover baked beans but found out instead they were green beans, they were all moldy and green. So the last possible thing she could do was do a simple meal. Hot dogs and potato chips. She went to the pantry to get the potato chips, and she started to yank at the bag. The bag split in half and chips flew everywhere. She just started bawling. Her husband came in to find his distressed wife weeping in the middle of a pile of potato chips. He came over and did the most unlikely thing someone would do at this time. He dived into the chips and started stomping and dancing and laughing. His wife looked at him and took his role and started dancing with him. So when you are left in a pile of potato chips, you just need to learn to dance with God on the chips.
