Getting closer
I want to get closer to God, but I am not the best when it comes to doing something daily... Does anyone have suggestions on how I could become closer?

Um...try giving about 10 minutes of your day to pray, before going to sleep or getting up and if you're looking for a good devotional, I heard extremely good echos from "daily with christ" by Neil and Joanne Anderson, it's very short -a page per day-. I looked a little bit through it and it look really good...after, remember that a devotional does not remplace the Bible! Your faith is like a muscle , you must exercise it everyday and feed it with the word! ; ) Good luck

I always hear "read Gods word" but that only works when I am paying attention. I think what really helps is getting a devotional and writing in a diary of my feelings and prayers for each day. Also asking god for strength and helping me to grow and trust him, helps too! Being honest with God.
