In my opinion, one of the greatest things a person can do is help others fight off diseases (both of my parents are in medicine so I'm very exposed to these things). One disease that is actually very easy to help fight off is cancer.
My pastor is one of the only surivivors of the form of cancer that he had. My best friend's mother had cancer, and my grandmother died from one of the symptoms of cancer. Lately, I've been looking for ways that I could help these brave people fight their disease.
I was looking through a magazine, and I came across an ad for Pantene. Across the bottom was a description of a program that Pantene has been doing for awhile now with the American Cancer Society. The program is called Beautiful Lengths, and it was made in order to create wigs for those fighting cancer.
I watched some of the videos the website for this program and I read some of the stories, and I decided that I am most definately going to give my hair to this cause.
