1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
John 15:18-19
If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first...You do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Proverbs 15:1-2
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of a fool gushes folly.
Proverbs 11:21
Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free.
James 1:5-8*
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receieve anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
*I love the first part of this verse. It's also a good reminder that you need to have faith in God.
So...what are some of your favorite bible verses???
Comment
I have three main favorite verses, but there is many more i like!
Phillipians 3:12-14:
It’s not that I’ve already reached the goal or have already completed the course. But I run to win that which Jesus Christ has already won for me. Brothers and sisters, I can’t consider myself a winner yet. This is what I do: I don’t look back, I lengthen my stride, and I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God’s heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.
Romans 12:2:
Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect.
Jeremaih 29:11:
11 I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.

Phillipians 4:6-7 (JNTP)
Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your request known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua.
