Thank you all for the comments! I enjoyed reading these stories and, well, thanks! This fall I will be a freshman, but at a new school and I dont know anyone. I am so nervous! But, with Gods help, I hope to meet some nice christian girls to become friends with!

I'm starting GRade 9 this year, and although I'm nervous, I'm also excited. I know I'll be challenged to live out my faith, but I'm also anticipating the chance to share my love for God with others. :)

I am going to be a freshman this year and I'm sooo excited!!!(: a little nervous about getting lost but not really bc I know there are so many people I can ask and I'm not afraid to ask for directions. (: got my schedule yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the classes I got! But as always u want to be sure u have classes with your friends, so that makes me a little nervous but I'm sure there will be someone! (: as u said peer pressure is a BIG ISSUE! As of now I'm "trying out" for the soccer team and from practices I have been to I have seen an heard a lot of what is considered "normal", to a hs student. as part of our team bonding we play games and one was called "never have I ever." many innapropriate and sexual comments were made and I was so surprised and honeslyy, disappointed. It wasn't tht I thought every hs student was Christian and refused to have sex but I was really surprise to see how many people have had it and think its "normal" and "healthy" in a relationship. But I have made the promise to myself and to god that I will wait and I am sticking to it. It sounds odd but knowing that so many people have done it, actually makes me feel that much more willing to wait! I am also signed up for a lot of honor classes and though I am so excited for them, I am slightly worried that I will overwhelm myself. With soccer everyday until 5 and someways 6:30, I will have hw for a few hours and I want to make sure I am still making God a priority. I think I can make it work but it is a concern of mine. Lol I kind of wrote a lot but it's a great topic and is making me even more excited for school!

I definitely feel you girl.  I am an incoming freshman.  This whole summer, I haven't hung out with any of my school friends, only my youth group friends.  Having spent so much time at my Church, and just with God in general, I don't feel ready to go back to the "world", if you know what I mean.  I am just praying that God will strengthen me and prepare me for the challenges that have yet to fall in my path.  I will be praying for you too dear.  Just offer it up.  My parents have always told me, the things you try the hardest to hold onto, are the things that God wants you to hand over to Him.  Praying for you!  God Bless- Michaela :)
