One thing that I've noticed about girls, is that they say on biography assignments, Facebook, that they're sweet and open to everyone, non-judgemental. However when you are with them in real life, they just seem to constantly critique anythingg about anyone who is different.
I think that living a Christian life, and accepting people doesn't just mean accept who you like and all those that don't make the cut hate on them. They're the ones we should be accepting!
Why would or should we all be exactly the same? Think how boring that would be! Like imagine walking down the street and seeing all the girls looking exactly the same, all the guys identicle. That would be so dull!
Our flaws are what make us, us! Don't try to change yourself just to please someone. Because who are they to judge? The only opinions that matter are yours and Gods'. So who care what some 'popular girl' thinks of your hair? If you love it, forget her.
Be you. Because you is the best person you'll ever be! <3

"Those who mind don't matter,
and those who matter don't mind."
Love it! ♥

I agree with you 100% that we should show the most love and patience to those who's actions we don't agree with. But we shouldn't accept all they do, for what love do we have for them if we allow them to walk into Satan's traps without even a word of warning?
How unique we are. How intricate and perfectly has God made us! Even now, as mere shadow of who we will fully be in our eternal bodies, we are still so different . Like precious jewels being refined by the Holy Spirit within us, it works to clear away all the worthless material and brings forward our true selves in all their unique splendor, reflecting God's image. All jewels are different from one another in their pure state but when they are so badly tainted and coated with worthless material (sin) it becomes impossible to distinguish them from rocks, bringing no glory or joy to God at all.
We should live to please and praise God alone but we must be open to his shaping us through any medium he chooses. This may happen even through people we may first see to be sinful for God has used sinful people in his works all through history and will continue until Jesus returns . We should not be hard hearted but hard headed, taking in what God is telling us but learning not to take in what is not from God.
I'm not saying you should change yourself at the instruction of others (for man is sinful) but I'm warning you not to become deaf to God's message if he chooses to deliver it to you through man. Also turn to judgmental people with wise words and they, themselves will learn to be wise. When the blind leads the blind they will both fall into a ditch but if they are given sight they will become productive.
God bless. <3
Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.
Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
(Galatians 6:1-6)
Your sister in Christ,
Kathleen
