1 year <3

why do guys have such a hold on us girls. Ever feel like if that guy would spend the time to smile at you or come say hi, it just would make your day. And then when he does you cant talk or think about anything else? when really all he wanted to know was why u were staring at him? why do we try and look prettier (by wearing make-up and spending hours on our hair and outfit, just in hope that he will have a second glance) why do we starve ourselfs (which can turn into eating disorders), in order to be skinnier so that he may think of us in an attractive way? why do we bother with guys who won't give up 1 minute of there time? boys have been a massive problem over the years and i have gone through eating disorders and bad self worth, over some of these "amazing" guys. when really the thing i was truely looking for was , the need to feel loved (truely loved) and the only person who can give me that is God. im 15. alot of my friends are starting to have sex to fufill the thirst that only god can cure. they are starting to turn to things such as boys, sex, drinking, some even turning to drugs and smoking. through all this i have managed to not drink! or smoke or take drugs or have sex. but boys still in my life sometimes (more than i would like) become first .... even infront of God. they consume or my time and thoughts. and before i know it i cant think of anything i would rather do then b with them. my friend lets call her S, and i have decided that we both have struggled with this problem to long. and we need to start to put God first in our life so we are doing a NO DATING FOR 1YR ... the first 6 months there is no exceptions the second half if we both agree the boy is good enough for eachother. than and only then may they date. its going to be a long year but im doing this for GOD. and besides if the right guy shows up im sure he wont mind waiting a little while ;)
