Hi Girls!
I'm just curious...what is your all-time FAVORITE Bible verse?

I walked to my mail box yesterday with a friend, and inside was my church newsletter. I sat down and read it and found an article entitled, Good Habits by Max Lucado. It goes like this:
I like the story of the little boy who fell out of bed. When his mom asked him what happened, he answered, "I don't know. I guess I stayed too close to…

So, as you all know, I am in college now. This school is a strict business school but to attract more diverse students, the college implemented a soccer team, a golf team, and a basketball team. We also have many business-centered clubs to join as well as a gay-pride club and a non-traditional student club. I was told that this school once had a bible study but for some reason don't anymore. I was thinking...wouldn't it be great to start a new bible study club??? The only thing that worries…

I really enjoyed reading about the Armor of God section in step three. It gave me a new outlook on salvation, truth, peace, the gospel and how these affect everyday life! I will definately think about this tomorrow morning when I wake up! Thank you again Hayley DiMarco for creating this website! You have no idea how much it helps me throughout my days! God Bless!

So I usually don't talk about personal family issues but this I must share!
My brother and his fiance have a four year old little girl. Since I don't have any kids of my own, She's my little princess! She's everyone's little princess! Little do most people know, her mother has suffered multiple miscarrages after my niece was born. She eventually had to have an operation in that area.…

I never actually sat down and thought about ways that I could love my friends...take care of them, don't let them do bad things, encourage them when they need it, offer advice, etc etc.
I am going to try and be more loving with my family and set an example. I think that will improve our outlook on each other.
I do think that girls worry about boys too much and that boys need to earn our love. Giving them everything is not good because if they leave that girl is left with…

Today I sat down on my couch while I was all alone and devoted half an hour to God. I sat their and talked to him about my worries, my problems, my loved ones, my aspirations. I told him about those around me who needed help. I aasked for guidance and forgiveness. After I was done, I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I literally felt better. It reminds me of a song by Lauren Alaina, "Dirt Road Prayer."
And so I go where the green grass grows
The weeds are high and…

Today while I stood behind the counter at work talking to my boss, a middle-aged to older African American woman approached with a few pieces of clothing. I don't recall asking her about her shopping experience but instead I was deeply concentrated on getting her clothes checked through quickly and eficiently. I looked up at her with a smile and told her the total and she began digging through her purse. While doing so, she began to start a conversation with me. "I'm trying to buy some…

To graduate from AIB College of Business, we are to put in at least 20 hours of volunteer service. After referring to my volunteering coordinator here on campus, I signed up for a volunteer orientation at the Animal Rescue League. After two long hours in orientation and another cat class, I found myself alone in the cat adoption area. Everyday I get to cuddle and play with these animals who are at the ARL (their temporary home). I also get to feed them, water them, clean up their areas, give…

In the past year, I have lost my dad and my grandma (who lived with us for eight years) suddenly and very unexpectedly. My search for answers as to what happens after death brought me closer to God. But I still wonder...personally, the moment you close your eyes and your heart stops, what do you believe will happen? Of course you (well hopefully) will go to heaven but how do you think this happens? Do you just wake up at the gates or do angels come to get you. After many hours of research, I…

Girls, I believe that purity until marriage is the ultimate way to a quality marriage! That sounded kind of silly but think about it. I am looking for a good chritian man with a good heart that doesn't see sex as the only way to a great relationship. I want a man that will wait until marriage, that WANTS to wait until marriage. Okay, now I need advice and encouragement. My family never practiced abstinence. My friends don't practice it. No one I know practices abstinence. In fact, I am the…

Don't let your parents down; they brought you up.
Be humble enough to obey; you may give orders some day.
Choose companions with care; you become what they are.
Guard your thoughts; what you think, you are.
Choose only a date that you would make a good mate.
Be master of your habits or they will master you.
Don't be a show-off when you drive; drive with safety and arrive.
Don't let the crowd pressure you; stand for something or you'll fall for…

So things have been going so wrong financially since my Dad and Grandma died this year. My family is in a deep deep hole and we are stuck! I have even considered dropping out of college because it is that bad! Please pray for us in this hard time!

Today as I sat in my apartment working on a large puzzel I had started a few days earlier, I noticed how quiet my small empty apartment had become. So, I walked over and turned on the stereo and left it on the station my friends were on the night before. The first song that came on was Whistle by Flo Rida. The whistling was catchy and I never really listened to the lyrics until this day. It had no meaning that really mattered. I think that it is referring to something sexual, but I am not…

A popular song by DC Talk sings the lyrics "What will people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus Freak?". A lot of people have these fears. I myself for a long time was scared about what my friends would think about me. I guess you could have called me a closet worshipper. I was so scared that they would make fun of me, ask me questions and expect perfect answers, and criticize me for being a nice christian girl instead of the outgoing, don't care…

Three short weeks ago, I reached a milestone in many kids' lives. I left home and moved into a college apartment. Not only was I 2 and 1/2 hours away from the church that I grew up in, but I was away from my support group. I left my family, friends, and community behind. I no longer had my comfort zone.
Before I left for college, I researched potential churches that I could become involved in. I wasn't about to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to church every…
