So as some of you know I have made a blog before this. This is kind of like my first blog just a follow-up really.
So the girl that I was talking about in my first blog was recommended by my mother to be my "best friend"(I had been battling depression at that time and didn't really have a best friend). Well obviously, she isn't. I have really been trying to be her friend but every time I try to talk to her she just nods her head and says "aha, aha" and looks at me like im stupid. All…Continue

Why do bad things happen? Perhaps it is to make us stronger, but that is so hard to see sometimes. To see the bright spot in everyday. Right now I just seem in a funk, and I can`t get out of it, no matter how hard I try. Its hard to see the good in things. It hard to see what is bringing down also. Its like an invisible force is dragging me down and it won`t let me get back up, no matter how hard I beg. I know God is out there, I know God is here, but sometimes it seems like He just wants to…Continue

Lately I've been having to make a lot of tough decisions regarding my life and future, and it's been really hard and progressively harder. I moved to New York last year for school, and now God is telling me to move back home after I've met so many people, made so many close friendships, and really grown to love my environment and the community that I have involved myself in. It's really sad and really hard to do what He is wanting instead of what I want, and there are more…Continue

Forgiving others is one of the hardest things to do, and many times we would rather not forgive someone because then we lose that "right" to be angry or bitter with them. We are hestitant to do this because forgiving someone is almost like saying, "hey, it's okay what you did to me."
Forgiveness is not easy, but God wants us to forgive. After all he did forgive you, and he forgave me too. If God—the one who is perfect and blameless—can forgive someone like me, who seems to screw up…Continue

It's amazing how God can use anyone— literally anyone to do His work. He sometimes picks the people most would never expect. I'm reminded of Paul in the New Testament. He was a great follower of Jesus Christ, and God used him to do AMAZING things, but Paul wasn't always that way. When Paul was still known as Saul, he hated Christians and would kill many, believing that was what God wanted him to do. In Acts 9 though, God changes Saul and convicts him of what he's done. He sees that what he…Continue

I have done some extremely bad things in my life, and I am afraid to admit them because I know people will think less of me. I know God is loving and he will forgive us if we just admit that we have done wrong and confess to Him and to others. I just have a hard time with the others part, I have told nobody, except the people that were involved and had no way but to know, it has been eating me alive for a while. How do you deal with forgetting something that you never should have done or…Continue

I just recently found out that my Youth Pastor, who has been with us for two years, is leaving. It is very hard on my youth group and myself. Please pray for us. My Youth Pastor said he got a calling by God to go and minister to another youth group an hour away. I can`t say I am upset at that, and I guess I should be grateful that it is not farther away, but I am just upset at the whole situation. Considering almost every single person I have put my trust into has moved away, it is like an…Continue

Hello, I just joined this site and I wanted to make a post. :) My name is Lamia [pronounced La-mee-a] and I guess I should tell you a bit about me. ^^
Well for starters I was born in a Christian home. I even remember the very first scripture that my father introduced to me as a little five year old.
John 1:1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word…Continue
In my english class there is a girl who says she does not believe in our hevanly father, or any of his good deeds. At first I wanted to help her, but didn't know how. I have thought deeply about it finally came up with a way to give her a chance to believe. I found my answer as I began to read the God Girl books, and started to become a full time daughter of God, for the books have spoken to me. I will teach her of all the things our savior has done, and if she still does not believe, I…Continue
