Hey girls! So you should know about me is that I have always been a tomboy. Recently though, I am realizing this is not what I want.
I have been watching the girls I have grown up with and I am beginning to feel like I am missing out on something. Something big...spectacular even. I think these pangs of wishful thinking came when I saw this guy from my church ask this newer girl to this youth group dance coming up. Usually, I would have gagged or something but then I…

Hey girls! I'm Roxy. I made this account a couple of days ago in hopes of becoming closer to the woman God meant me to be. So far though, I have just been working on my profile while stalking a few girls in particular and stealing their ideas.
In other words - not much.
Today I finally decided it was time to come out of hibernation and make this little intro. A few minutes ago, I had a huge list of all…

As for the books, if you want something light and funny and romantic like My Fair Godmother, I would totally suggest you either read it's sequel - My Unfair Godmother - or something else by Janette Rallison. All of her books are super funny.
If you want something more serious but still uberly awesome, here are my top three "lesser known" recommendations:
Till We Have Faces by CS Lewis - I just adore everything about this book. I know it might seem boring (especially it's cover) but I adore it. The story, the meaning, the lesson, the writing style. It is just a masterpiece and it is my favorite classic!
The Moorchild by Eloise McGraw - Although this book is written for a younger age audience, I read it this year and was completely hooked. When I first read it's description I wasn't sure if it were exactly my thing but this story is told in just SUCH an amazing way, I seriously just can't describe it. Reading this book reminded me just why I first fell in love with reading I loved it that much!
And last but not least, Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson - This book came out last year and though the story was dark and a bit hard to get into, I have read it three times since that first time. I don't know what it is about that book that draws me back to it but I really just love how it truly takes you inside of it's world. You know? Like you really feel THERE.
Anyway, I truly hope you enjoy these books and if you want any more book recommendations, one girl to contact is Claire Black. You can find her on my friend list. Not only does she write amazing stories that can make the best of writers jealous but she has a site just for awesome books so she is totally worth checking out!
Blessings!
