For Christian non-fiction, my favorites include: John Piper ("Desiring God"), Cloud & Townsend ("Boundaries"), John White ("The Fight") and Becky Pippert & Ravi Zacharias for evangelism/apologetics. And some authors who are part of an Amish community for marriage & parenting!

I'm thinking about attempting Bonhoffer again. I tried once, but at the time "Life Together" was "too much" for me then. I realized that I was tempted to judge him / what he was saying, but I thought, "This is Bonhoffer; I think it's more likely that I'm not mature enough to handle him yet." So I put the book down.

Tell you about me? Well, I was surprised at how much that question took me aback! Well, I'm a math nerd... I love hanging out w/ my fam, and I love being in a Bible study full of older women. I go to a small Chinese church 'cause my hubby is a youth pastor there, and right NOW I'm really excited about the challenge of working alongside him.
