Taryn D. said… I don't know exactly how many horses there are. They own 3, and they have tons of boarders.
Taryn D. said… Yah. Small stables are usually more laid back and all. The one I ride at is a very small stable and they are very friendly. The one that I volunteered at is one of the biggest horse farms in Ontario. It has over 75 horses. They are also kinda money hungry.:(
Taryn D. said… Those Paso Finos sound amazing! The really bouncy horse where I take lessons has a very smooth canter too! I used to volunteer at a stable but a I quit 'cause some of the other people there were nasty. I also didn't like the way they treated the horses. In January I will probably start working at another stable where they teach people with disabilities how to ride. I can't wait 'cause they are a lot friendlier. Also, I really miss horses because my instructor is a university student so she does't teach during the school year.
Taryn D. said… Oh, that's too bad. The one horse I rode for lessons had an extremely bouncy trot and it was next to impossible to sit trot on him. I did read a book about a Tennessee walker that had very, very smooth gaits and that was why the girl loved riding him sooo much. lol.
Taryn D. said… HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taryn D. said… ooooooohhhhhh! I LOVE Tennessee Walkers! I've never ridden one (only 2 QHs and a Thoroughbred) but I really want to. I think their smooth gaits sound really nice especially for some one who just got off the bounciest horses ever! (me)
Taryn D. said… What kind of horse is Midnight?
Taryn D. said… I love horses too! Your horse Midnight is gorgeous! I take English riding lessons too! I would love to have my own horse! You are sooooo lucky!
